Week 2 State Top 25 Scoreboard

No. 8 Grant of Sacramento had bus headed to Fresno turned around on Friday due to postponement but got to play on Saturday instead and won. Highest ranked teams to lose on Friday to an unranked opponent, meanwhile, were No. 18 Pittsburg and No. 20 Redlands East Valley.

All-State Softball: Small, Medium

Selection of the 33rd annual Cal-Hi Sports all-state softball teams rolls on with this year’s best from medium-size and small-size schools (based mostly on section playoff divisions). Dynamic duos get picked from seven separate schools and one of those players earns the four-year all-state prep career sweep.

St. Bonaventure FB History Highlights

More Softball State Teams of Year

Toughest choice ends up for Division III and the nod goes to St. Paul of Santa Fe Springs. Amador Valley (Division I), Mission Viejo (Division II), Taft (Division IV) and St. Bonaventure of Ventura (Division V) all finish on top as well.

State Softball Ranks By Divisions

No. 1 teams heading into the section playoffs and in line for mythical divisional state crowns are Amador Valley of Pleasanton (D1), Mission Viejo (D2), Burbank (D3), Taft (D4) and St. Bonaventure of Ventura (D5).
