Boys BB: Division State Ranks (2nd)

There are no new No. 1 teams in any of our divisional rankings heading into Tuesday’s regional semifinals. Still on top are St. John Bosco (D1), Brentwood (D2), Pleasant Valley of Chico (D3), Hillcrest of Riverside (D4) and Santa Clarita Christian (D5). Highest newcomers would be Alameda (D2), Murrieta Mesa (D3) and Liberty Ranch (D4)....

NEW Girls BB State Top 20

We do and always have done the Cal-Hi Sports state rankings (more than 35 years) independent to whatever seemingly yearly changing system the CIF uses to do its regional playoff seedings. After seeing some of the placements this time, one can only hope they will get the kinks out of a system that needs fixing....
