Lions All-Stars settle for tie

Saturday night’s game in Tracy featured an MVP outing from a QB more known for handing off, an Offensive MVP who switched to slot receiver and a Defensive MVP more known for catching passes.

It had been two weeks since the St. Mary’s of Stockton girls basketball team (ranked No. 1 in Northern California) had taken to the court heading into a CIF Sac-Joaquin Section Division I playoff opener on Tuesday night against Merced.
