After all games in the books, it’s pretty obvious the state’s No. 1 and No. 2 girls teams are Mater Dei and St. Mary’s of Stockton. After that, though, it’s more of a toss up. Did Sierra Canyon make a case to be No. 3 with Monday win over St. Ignatius?
NorCal No. 1 beats NorCal No. 2
The title game of Tuesday’s Platinum Division at the West Coast Jamboree matched the early leaders in Northern California girls basketball and saw youthful St. Mary’s of Stockton defeat senior-laden St. Ignatius of San Francisco.
