FB: NorCal goes 1-2 in final State 25

It ended up being a No. 1 and No. 2 sweep for Northern California in the final Cal-Hi Sports State 25 overall football rankings, which is unusual, but doesn’t match the 1-2-3-4 sweep that took place in the same final rankings for 2011.

Week 13 State Rankings Updates

Heading into the various section semifinals, L.B. Poly hops to No. 5 and Amat to No. 8 in State 25. Highest newcomers in State 25 are Mission Hills and Stockton St. Mary’s. For CIF bowl games, No. 1 teams are still in place but Inderkum and Aptos make key moves.

Week 12 State Rankings Updates

The CCS Open Division pairings creates changes in the north for the bowl games and focuses more on what could be a very close decision for Division II. The rest of the bowl game rankings stay status quo. Newcomers to the State 25, meanwhile, are Tesoro, Valley Christian of San Jose and Edison of Fresno.
