MLK CIF Open Division Preview?

California’s top two girls teams – Mater Dei of Santa Ana and St. Mary’s of Stockton – both win during Saturday’s MLK Showcase at St. Mary’s. It was a solid win for the Monarchs but more of a crazy one for the Rams. We have the scores and at least one highlight from every game.

NorCal No. 1 beats NorCal No. 2

The title game of Tuesday’s Platinum Division at the West Coast Jamboree matched the early leaders in Northern California girls basketball and saw youthful St. Mary’s of Stockton defeat senior-laden St. Ignatius of San Francisco.
