No. 1 teams are Mater Dei (D1), Redondo (D2), Bishop O’Dowd (D3), Sierra Canyon (D4) and Capital Christian (D5). All but Sierra Canyon also seem like locks for SoCal or NorCal Open Division. Friday CIF Girls Basketball Picks & Previews
A public school is guaranteed to win the Division I title at Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento and it’s likely going to be Long Beach Poly. Other favorites are Sierra Canyon in Division V and Alemany in Division III, which could make the San Fernando Valley happy.
New State Girls BB Divisional Rankings
In the next to last polls of the season, there are few changes, except in Division I where Berkeley bounds up to No. 8 and Hanford gets a nod as a newcomer at No. 15. Lynwood is a new No. 2 in Division II while Sierra Canyon is a new No. 1 in Division V.
