Preseason All-Central Sec FB Team

It figures to be a wide open race for the top team ranking in the section, but last year’s top two of Ridgeview and Liberty (both of Bakersfield) certainly have some players that can keep them more than competitive. The section’s top player, from a college recruiting standpoint at least, is Fresno Central’s Jaylon Johnson.

All-State Baseball: Medium, Small

Here’s the next installment of the 2014 all-state teams for baseball and it’s a salute to the best of the best for medium schools and small schools. Among schools scoring multiple honorees are Manteca, Torrance, Kaiser of Fontana, Kerman, Minarets of O’Neals and Oak Hills.
