Only one is named from each region for offense, defense and special teams and we’re going to do our best to spread it around as much as possible. This week’s honors go to Eureka, Richmond, Moraga, Torrance, San Diego and Anaheim.

State Boys Volleyball Top 20
Just for fun, since we also do the Student Sports FAB 50 national rankings in boys volleyball, here’s a look at an updated State Top 20 heading into this week’s first games of the CIF NorCal and SoCal championships.
Bay Area Baseball, Softball Top 20s
The top-ranked two baseball teams in the region may meet this week at St. Francis Elite 8 tourney. In softball, Salesian of Richmond goes in as only newcomer. We produce these rankings in support of the Cal-Hi Sports Bay Area TV show, which airs live on KUSI Channel 20 in San Francisco on Sunday nights.

Harvard-Westlake No. 1 overall for first time in school history. Others honored are Campolindo of Moraga (D2), Oaks Christian (D3), Pacific Grove (D4) and Desert Christian Academy (D5).
