NorCal/SoCal Players of the Week
It wasn’t a huge outing but we salute Sacramento High QB Caden Voges for becoming just the sixth in state history to reach 10,000 passing yards for career. Others collecting this honor this week are from Newman, Moraga, Gardena, San Clemente and Anaheim.
State Stat Stars of the Week
Among this week’s best single-game outings is a rare section record tie for rushing yards by Rancho Buena Vista’s Dominic Taylor. Also highlighted are Chatsworth’s Tyger Goslin, Newbury Park’s Cameron Rising (again) and Bryson Bolin of San Marcos. But considering the opposition, of course, the best probably was from Gardena Serra’s Khalil Tate.
