Week 8 State Top 25 Scoreboard
With the state’s big three continuing to distance themselves from all others, the most significant results came in from Mission Viejo and Mountain View. That’s where No. 8 Mission Viejo clobbered No. 21 San Juan Hills and where No. 24 St. Francis was edged by its rivals from Bellarmine.

There’s more than just a major bump given to Archbishop Riordan this week. Sacred Heart Prep goes back in as a newcomer along with unbeaten McClymonds of Oakland. Archbishop Mitty also jumps up eight spots with big game looming between No. 3 Foothill and No. 6 Monte Vista.

We also review the single-game and single-season QB sack records and go over new schools that have joined those with 500 or more all-time varsity wins.
