Saturday Girls CIF State Finals
Long Beach Poly beats Salesian in Open Division and will be No. 1 in the state. Chaminade adds another title in Division II championship, its third of the school year. Sierra Canyon also wins one for the San Fernando Valley in Division IV.
NorCal Boys BB Regional Finals
Big winners include Bishop O’Dowd, Monte Vista of Danville, Folsom, Drake of San Anselmo, Moreau of Hayward and St. Joseph Notre Dame. North Coast Section wins five of the six titles this year with only Folsom crashing the party. Look for our CIF state finals’ predictions on Monday.

Big winners include Salesian, Pleasant Grove, Archbishop Mitty, Modesto Christian, Justin-Siena and Pinewood. Salesian’s defense was the key in stopping Miramonte in the Open Division. Modesto Christian’s comeback from 17 points down in the second half against Enterprise also was amazing. Look for our CIF state finals’ predictions on Monday.
