New State Girls BB Divisional Rankings
Unlike the boys, there were no major upsets in Tuesday playoff games this week. There wasn’t even a single team from last week’s rankings in any division, in fact, that lost and dropped out from this week’s rankings.
New State Boys BB Divisional Rankings
Hart gains honor no team wants as state’s first major upset victim of the postseason. Most significant result from Tuesday sees La Verne Lutheran top Windward. Highest-rising newcomer is Westlake in Division II.
New State Girls BB Divisional Rankings
Watch out for Wilcox of Santa Clara as a newcomer in Division I. The only other new teams with a ranking are Canyon Springs and Canyon of Canyon Country. Miramonte also moves up to No. 2 in D3, strengthening chances the team will be in the open division for the regional playoffs.
New State Boys BB Divisional Rankings
Biggest changes this week are in D3 with newcomers Oak Park and Sonora of La Habra and Cathedral Catholic going up to No. 3. St. Joseph Notre Dame also returns to No. 2 in D5.
New State Girls BB Divisional Rankings
No. 1 teams in good shape for another week, but two No. 2 teams have already faced tough challenges this week and one of them has lost. Newcomers this week include Santa Barbara, Mater Dei Catholic and Ripon Christian.
New State Boys BB Divisional Rankings
San Leandro, San Marcos and a team from San Diego make a splash in this week’s new order. Bishop O’Dowd also gets a bit more of the spotlight as a new top-ranked team in its division.
New State Girls BB Divisional Rankings
Carondelet takes over at the top in D2, but as a likely open division team in the north such a ranking doesn’t have as much prestige. Also on the move up are newcomers Kennedy of Sacramento, Enterprise of Redding, Jurupa Valley and Bishop’s of La Jolla.
New State Boys BB Divisional Rankings
It’s been two weeks since these rankings were last done and there are nine newcomers, headed up by Compton and Independence of Bakersfield in D3 and Dublin in D2. Hottest risers are Hart of Newhall, Serra of San Mateo and Capital Christian of Sacramento.
New State Girls BB Divisional Rankings
School from Turlock breaks through in Division V, but the town is buzzing about something a little more important this week. Others on the rise include Heritage of Brentwood and El Dorado of Placentia.

Russell Westbrook’s alma mater makes the most noise this week with a jump to No 5 in Division III. Redondo also goes way up in D2 despite 10-8 record. This week’s rankings don’t include results from this week but hard to miss Crespi’s huge win over Loyola.
