Preseason Boys BB Updates

Our own preseason Cal-Hi Sports state rankings – going 35 teams deep plus a preseason all-state team to follow – will begin to be released late next week. As a teaser, here are the preseason regional rankings as released on Thursday by partners at GrassrootsHoops.net. Many California teams mentioned.

Super Showcase Top 20 Rankings

No. 1 Bosco Tops No. 3 Mater Dei

Pangos Frosh/Soph: Top 40 Rankings

We took in all the sessions of the 2014 Pangos All-West Frosh/Soph Camp at Cerritos (Calif.) College over the weekend and broke down our notes and evaluations to rank the top forty players in attendance.

No. 1 Bosco Goes Down in Vegas

Comeback bid for state No. 1 St. John Bosco of Bellflower comes up just short in 34-31 road loss to Bishop Gorman of Las Vegas. Gaels’ victory could mean there will be a new No. 1 team in the state next week, but importance of game won’t be known for weeks to come.
