NorCal/SoCal Players of the Week
Just like we did during the football season, we are going to do our best to spread around these honors as much as possible with one boy and one girl chosen from each region. This week’s best are from Modesto, Los Angeles, Berkeley and Los Angeles.
State Stat Stars of the Week
We already have reports of boys players this week with 56, 53 and 52-point outbursts. Some of those will have to wait until next week as more details come in but two other 50-point games from last week are included. San Diego Section standouts Destiny Littleton, Katrina Lusky and Sierra Campisano, meanwhile, lead the girls.

Player comes up one short of 50 in team’s one-point loss. Plus, more huge totals for Maranatha’s Tyler Dorsey and Cordova’s Jordan Roberson. For the girls, it’s 35 points for a McDonald’s All-American and 35 points for a McDonald.

This feature has switched to boys and girls basketball and like we did in football we are going to do our best to spread around the honors as much as possible with one boy and one girl chosen from each region. This week’s best are from Hesperia, San Rafael, Sierra Madre and Oakley.
State Stat Stars of the Week
For the boys, Roach roasts for 46, Ledine is more than fine with 39 and Torres gets torrid for Pioneer. For the girls, another Destanee can score almost as much as Destiny while Maranatha’s Fluker becomes a rebounding machine.
REV revs it up vs. Ridgeview
Looking at the 59-42 final score, you wouldn’t have thought it was a defensive battle in Redlands East Valley’s 59-42 triumph over Ridgeview of Bakersfield in the CIF Southern California Division II bowl game played Saturday night at Citrus Valley High.
Oceanside routs Edison

St. Margaret’s knocks off Christian
All year long, it’s looked like Christian of El Cajon would be the class of Southern California among schools with Division IV enrollments, but on Friday night at Granite Hills High it was proven that St. Margaret’s of San Juan Capistrano has returned to that status.
