We haven’t had a team jump from unranked into the top list, but there was no choice to do that this week for Leuzinger of Lawndale after its upset of previous No. 6 Santa Margarita. There also are two teams that moved up this week after losses — Sierra Canyon and Pittsburg — plus Los Alamitos, Murrieta Valley and Central of Fresno going up after strong wins. Finally, welcome Newbury Park to the top group.
