Win Streaks, Lose Streaks & Stat Stars

Believe it or not, but the longest current football win streak after the first week of the season for most of the state is just 11 games. Losing streaks also are over at Channel Islands of Oxnard and Heritage of Menifee. The first week of any season in any sport often is the most likely time when a long winning streak or a long losing streak comes to an end. The winning teams may have had a lot of seniors who graduated from the year before and the losing teams can get creative with their scheduling to find an opponent that might be easier to get that elusive win.
