It’s the first week of May and already there are a few prominent teams that have lost in the CIF Southern Section playoffs and are done for the season, including two-time defending D1 champion JSerra. The CIF Sac-Joaquin Section playoffs start this week, but it’s still another week after that for the rest. Clovis West gets the biggest bump this week after its three-game sweep of Clovis.
