With previous No. 2 and No. 3 losing, the possibility of No. 1 St. Francis (Mountain View) or its rivals from Archbishop Mitty (which already has one win over the Lancers) ending No. 1 in the state has become more juicy. With CIF Southern Section D1 champ Pacifica moving up to third, more scrambling could happen if Vacaville (with a 28-game winning streak) does big things in upcoming NorCal D1 playoffs. The Bulldogs are up to No. 10 in this week’s rankings.
