The CIF Southern Section playoffs are under way and there were no surprises in Open Division pool play matchups, nor was there any surprises in the two games that CIFSS Division 1 top seed Rosary played last week. As for the other CIF sections, the playoffs are beginning this week and the CIF North Coast Section Open Division seedings and strength of schedule of Cardinal Newman were factors in the only changes in this week’s rankings.
