The team from this group was closest to going to the top 25 was Helix (La Mesa). The two biggest movers, however, were both from the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section. Monterey Trail of Elk Grove went from No. 50 to No. 29 while St. Mary’s of Stockton is highest newcomer at No. 42. Apple Valley and Lincoln (San Diego) also got strong bumps. Bishop Diego of Santa Barbara is this week’s only other newcomer. More than 25 teams also listed on the bubble.
