This feature serves as our statewide collection of milestone achievements in California high school sports. There are two coaches — one from baseball and one from softball — who have won their 700th games. We also have softball player Carly Knoles of Duarte with a season hit total that gets her name into the state records plus several outings from earlier this week in CIF Southern Section playoff games, including a one-hitter by Torrance’s Brock Mayer against a team that was 27-1 and was on a 27-game winning streak.
Note: This is a post only for our Gold Club members on CalHiSports.com. After the preseason, all weekly and final state rankings are available only to our Gold Club members as well as our state stat star of the week honor rolls. To check out getting a Gold Club membership to see all of those rankings plus all of our updated state record lists, totally authentic historical features, recruiting player ratings and more, CLICK HERE.
