The dominance of the Southern California teams in the preseason and then the first rankings in early December has been tempered after the results of the Nike TOC and the West Coast Jamboree, but SoCal still claims the first three spots. After that we have some movement with a couple of Northern California teams making some solid moves upward, including a team jumping 16 spots and into the top five.
