We have two weeks of honor roll performers, coaching accomplishments and more in this installment of this feature. For boys hoops, we have the fourth coach in state history to win his 900th game, plus we have a player reaching 2,000 career points and a team winning its 17th consecutive league title. For girls hoops, there are two players moving up the career scoring charts (one in Antelope & the other in Strathmore) plus there is a sophomore from Valley View of Moreno Valley lighting it up. For softball, Ellie Garcia from Don Lugo of Chino continues to hit home runs while there are several impressive no-hitters. Finally, in baseball, Central Section player goes 5-for-5 with four doubles and eight RBI and we have impressive hitting-pitching combo outings from players at Sierra Canyon and Pioneer of Woodland.
