1. St. John Bosco (Bellflower) 2-0
Braves played No. 31 Santa Margarita on Saturday at the Santa Ana Bowl and won 65-28. It was 21-20 earlier in the contest. Sophomore Matayo Uiagalelei, younger brother of 2019 Mr. Football D.J. Uiagalelei, scored on an interception return.
2. Mater Dei (Santa Ana) 1-0
Defeated JSerra (SJ Capistrano) 52-3. First start for freshman Elijah Brown a success with three TD passes. Raesjon Davis got the rout going with an early pick six.
3. Servite (Anaheim) 2-0
Defeated Lutheran (Orange) 69-13. Friars were up 42-14 at halftime. Four TD passes and two TD runs for Noah Fifita.
4. De La Salle (Concord) 2-0
Defeated Monte Vista (Danville) 63-27 on Saturday. Lu Magia Hearns ran back two kickoffs for touchdowns. Next up San Ramon Valley.
5. Mission Viejo 1-0
Defeated Oak Hills (Hesperia) 55-6. Diablos were supposed to play Trabuco Hills of Mission Viejo, but had to scramble with another cancellation (they had one in first game vs. La Habra).
6. Centennial (Corona) 1-0
Defeated M.L. King (Riverside) 50-0 in game played Thursday. Junior DB Jaden Mickey scored one of the TDs on a long pick six while wearing only one shoe.

7. Folsom 2-0
Defeated Granite Bay 35-25. A 96-yard TD pass play helped Granite Bay to a 17-14 lead at halftime. Tyler Tremaine had three TD passes in 2nd half for Bulldogs.
8. Cathedral Catholic (San Diego) 2-0
Defeated Steele Canyon (Lakeside) 49-0. This blanking comes on heels of 41-0 win in opener.
9. Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth) 1-1
Defeated St. Bernard (Playa del Rey) 56-0. Trailblazers made sure debut game for head coach Manny Douglas at St. Bernard didn’t go well.
10. Serra (San Mateo) 1-0
Defeated Valley Christian (San Jose) 33-26. Dominique Lampkin and Hassan Mahasin hooked up for two early TDs. Padres also needed to recover onside kick to hold off Warriors.
11. Alemany (Mission Hills) 1-0
Defeated Notre Dame (Sherman Oaks) 21-9. Junior Dylan Gebbia threw for two TDs for Warriors, but postgame reaction was muted due to team making too many miscues.
12. St. Augustine (San Diego) 2-0
Defeated Madison (San Diego) 24-7. Saints and arch-rivals from Cathedral Catholic face off next week.
13. Oak Ridge (El Dorado Hills) 1-1
The Trojans, who lost in first game to No. 7 Folsom, faced Whitney of Rocklin on Saturday and almost lost again. They won 13-7.
14. Oaks Christian (Westlake Village) 2-0
The Lions took on bordering school Westlake of Westlake Village on Saturday and won 30-16. The Warriors were leading 16-10 earlier in the contest.
15. Central (Fresno) 1-0
Defeated Clovis 35-32 on Thursday. QB D.J. Stevenson rallied the Grizzlies from a 21-0 deficit to a last-second win. The Cougars were No. 44 in preseason top 50 and No. 3 among teams from CIF Central Section.

16. Monterey Trail (Elk Grove) 1-0
Defeated Woodcreek (Roseville) 34-7. The Mustangs had to switch opponents for this game due to COVID related cancellations. They gave up early TD, but then went for 34 unanswered.
17. Helix (La Mesa) 0-2
LOST to Mater Dei Catholic (Chula Vista) 19-2. Highlanders, last year’s No. 1 team in the CIF San Diego Section, lost in their season-opener to No. 12 St. Augustine.
18. San Clemente 1-0
Defeated Capistrano Valley (Mission Viejo) 35-24. Lachlan Van Rosmalen threw for three TDs for the Tritons.
19. Lincoln (San Diego) 1-0
Defeated Point Loma (San Diego) 64-0. Sophomore Samuel Cooper debuted with five TD passes & one TD run.
20. Valley Christian (San Jose) 0-1
LOST to No. 9 Serra (San Mateo) 33-28. Jurrion Dickey caught a 60-yard TD pass late in 4th to give VC a chance.
21. Oceanside 0-1
LOST to Mission Hills (San Marcos) 28-7 on Saturday. Team Pirates played had first game called off for COVID. Result further sets up clash of SD Section top-ranked teams next week Cathedral Catholic vs. St. Augustine.
22. Pittsburg 1-0
Defeated Freedom (Oakley) 59-14. These two in recent seasons have played some classic thrillers. Not the case this time.
23. La Habra 2-0
Defeated Fullerton 34-28 in OT. Closeness of score not expected. Could cost team a few spots in next rankings.
24. Loyola (Los Angeles) 0-0
Did not play. A game that the Cubs were supposed to play against Upland was cancelled earlier on Friday. Their first game will now be against St. Bernard of Playa del Rey next week.
25. Clayton Valley (Concord) 2-0
Played Saturday vs. 1-0 California (San Ramon) and rallied for 20-16 win. Game-winner with 1:37 left on TD catch by Isaiah Underwood.

Defeated Cathedral (Los Angeles) 21-6.
Cardinal Newman (Santa Rosa) 1-0
Defeated Windsor 28-7. Big numbers for WR Tsion Nunnally.

Defeated Lakewood 41-0. Defense held Lancers to negative yards.
Los Alamitos 2-0
Defeated Corona del Mar (Newport Beach) 52-21. CdM had 17-0 win streak. Los Al had amazing 35-0 third quarter that wiped out 21-17 deficit.
Lutheran (Orange) 0-1
LOST to No. 3 Servite (Anaheim) 69-13.
Mater Dei Catholic (Chula Vista) 1-0
Defeated No. 17 Helix (La Mesa) 19-2. Team was in top 50 last week.

Defeated No. 23 Oceanside 28-7 on Saturday.

Defeated Del Oro (Loomis) 29-21.

Defeated Chaminade (West Hills) 12-6 in OT. Same team lost in first game in OT to Long Beach Poly.

Defeated Jesuit (Carmichael) 42-20 on Saturday. Loss was 35-27 to No. 4 De La Salle.
