NEW State Top 25 Girls BB Rankings

The CIF Southern Section Open Division playoffs have already completed one of the three games in pool play heading into this week and two of the games were decided by two and three points, and the other two games were not blowouts, either. Now, the rest of the state, except the Central Coast Section where some leagues still had games on Tuesday, will start to catch up with the beginning of playoffs in the other sections. All teams projected by the rankings to be top seeds in their section’s top division have now fallen into place, except Archbishop Mitty in the CCS Open Division until that one is announced on Wednesday, but it’s a slam dunk. This was a week with very little movement and no newcomers, but there were some great games, including one with the most points by two teams in state history.
