Two of the very oldest schools in the state, Long Beach Poly and St. Ignatius of San Francisco, both go into this week’s rankings as newcomers after posting big wins last week. Only one of the two got that win in a playoff game, but the other one knocked off a team that was No. 10 last week. We also have solid upward movement from several team, including Lawndale, Carlsbad, Oak Ridge of El Dorado Hills, Steele Canyon of Spring Valley and Camarillo.
