With previous No. 1 Harvard-Westlake taking a tie, we’ve determined that if either Cypress, Orange Lutheran or Huntington Beach wins the title in this week’s SoCal portion of the Boras Classic then that team should essentially be the No. 1 team in the state. That’s why those three are now No. 1, No. 2 and No. 4 in this week’s rankings with the Wolverines just slipping a couple of spots to No. 3. This week’s rankings also have been expanded by five positions plus we’ll be sure to have at least 15 more teams on the bubble for a total of 40. The first 20 are broken down by writeups and highlights for the best state baseball rankings package that can be found anywhere.
