This week we have the wrap on the outstanding careers of Jarod Lucas, Joseph Octave and Jaime Jaquez as all three of their seasons have ended with their teams losing in the CIF Southern Section playoffs. Some other high-scoring boys and girls players such as Michael Vivo of Riverbank and Anna Treder of California Lutheran (Wildomar) also are already done for the year. Plus, we have a huge double-double from Wednesday by Stockton St. Mary’s standout Bryce Johnson, who did it on the same day the Rams were hit with seven forfeit losses, including that one win that snapped Modesto Christian’s state-record league win streak at 196 games.
