As SoCal Boys Player of the Week Jarod Lucas of Hacienda Heights Los Altos gets closer to 2,900 career points, we also are tracking two others moving up the all-time state list with Joseph Octave of Mary Star (San Pedro) now above 2,400 and Jaime Jaquez of Camarillo now above 2,300. We also have a boys player this week with a 37-point, 13-steal, 10-assist triple double. For the girls, there’s nothing bitter about Ventura Foothill Tech’s Abbie Sourwine. Plus, we have a girl with a 30.0 ppg average from last week that has gone up again.
