All-State Softball: Underclass

Kelly McGuigan (left) of San Francisco St. Ignatius doesn’t play catcher in travel ball, but makes all-state underclass first team as a catcher after she led the CIF Central Coast Section in homers with 13 as a sophomore. At right, Westlake Village Oaks Christian junior Maya Brady followed up a great summer of 2017 with a great spring of 2018. The UCLA commit only made four errors in 31 games, hit .519 with 10 homers and 32 RBI and she stole 28 bases with 51 runs scored. Photos: Prep2Prep.com & FloSoftball.tv.
