While there could be a team from the CIF Southern Section with a solid No. 1 argument next week, this week it has to be San Marcos going up to the top of the state after its showdown win over previous No. 1 Cathedral Catholic of San Diego last Saturday. Read on to see why that’s isn’t going to change for the final rankings. This week’s only newcomer is Newbury Park from the CIFSS D2 playoffs.
