CIF state champions St. Francis of Mountain View (up one) and Bishop Diego of Santa Barbara (up seven) both get bumps for the final rankings of the season. Others moving up are Oakdale, Tulare and Jesuit of Carmichael. There also are two new teams in the final State Top 50 and for the final rankings we’ve also added 10 more teams ranked in order from No. 51 to No. 60.

With just a one-point loss to No. 14 Oaks Christian in the CIF Southern Section D2 finals and with impressive wins in the quarterfinals (70-35) and semifinals (52-34) over state-ranked Norco and Heritage of Menifee, the Vikings move up one spot for the final rankings. They will lose QB Connor Downs (3,254 yards passing and 30 TDs) to graduation but will return one of the state’s best in junior WR/RB/DB Mykael Wright. He caught 55 passes for 1,317 yards and 18 TDs and rushed for four scores on offense while on defense he had four interceptions, two caused fumbles and blocked a punt.
