It’s that time of the year when the CIF Southern Section gets a jump on some of the other larger sections such as the CIF Sac-Joaquin, North Coast and Central Coast sections that were either still in league play or in league playoffs at the start of this week. In a CIFSS league playoffs last week, Windward of L.A. knocked off Sierra Canyon to cause the only changes in this week’s rankings.
