Last week on the FOX 40 Final Quarter high school football show, hosts Jim Crandell and Kristina Werner revealed a list of the top five linebackers this season in the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section, according to CalHiSports.com.
Here is what that countdown revealed:
1. David Moala (Grant) 6-1, 205, Sr.
He had 27 tackles for loss as a junior and is one of the top players on one of the area’s top teams.
2. Jordan Boyd (Wood, Vacaville) 6-0, 190, Sr.
A three-year standout for the Wildcats, he was averaging nearly 18 tackles per game through the first five games this season.
3. Roger Neal (Folsom) 5-9, 205, Sr.
He’s been leading the Bulldogs in tackles so far this year and is one of their top running backs as well.
4. Derrick Henderson (Inderkum) 5-10, 200, Sr.
Yes, we are listing two from Inderkum. Derrick is a senior leader who is averaging 11 tackles per game and he’s had 100- yard games as a running back.
5. Josh Falo (Inderkum) 6-3, 200, Jr.
Already has offers from Cal, UCLA, Washington and others.
