Last week on the FOX 40 Final Quarter high school football show, co-hosts Jim Crandell and Kristina Werner revealed a list of the top five defensive linemen in the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section for the 2014 season, according to CalHiSports.com.
Here is what that countdown revealed with player, high school and notes:
1. N.J. Falo (Inderkum) 6-3, 235, Sr.
Committed to Colorado; brother Nate plays at San Jose State.
2. Kori Collons (Jesuit) 6-6, 210, Sr.
Offer from Washington State and also plays basketball for Marauders.
3. Jonah Williams (Folsom) 6-5, 275, Jr.
One of the top junior defensive linemen in the state.
4. Sam Whitney (Folsom) 6-3, 225, Sr.
Also starts at center for the Bulldogs in addition to defensive end.
5. Will Gallo (Modesto) 6-1, 210, Sr.
Had eight sacks in first four games and has been clutch pass catcher for the Panthers.
