As many coaches love to say, it’s the final rankings that only matter. Here they are for each CIF state championship division. The state champion is first in each division, but the final No. 2 team could be a team from the same league (which happened in one of the divisions this year). Others getting a boost for the final rankings include Redwood of Larkspur (D2), Mater Dei Catholic of Chula Vista (D3), Gahr of Cerritos (D4) and St. Pius X-St. Matthias of Downey (D5).
