State Super 70: No. 11 to No. 20

Our Sunday special this week continues the countdown of the 70 greatest high school football teams in state history. As we move toward the top 10, there are some changes in this range of teams. This is mainly because of the elevation of the Folsom High Bulldogs of 2014. Their QB, Jake Browning, in the last year has proven to be a legitimate NFL quarterback for the Cincinnati Bengals and developments like that for these rankings make a difference. That Folsom team, however, still has to be behind De La Salle 2014 due to the final state rankings for that season. Others in this group include Mission Viejo 2004, Long Beach Poly 2001 and Blair of Pasadena 1969.

Note: All of the writeups, grid logs, photos and more for all of these teams are for our Gold Club members only. We are now offering Gold Club signups for just $12.99 for three months. If you’ve thought about joining, just going through this first-ever attempt at ranking the greatest football teams in state history may be worth it just by itself. For details, CLICK HERE.
