After Santa Margarita’s big win over Corona Centennial, the Trinity League keeps reaching up for new levels of dominance and now has the No. 1, No. 2, No. 4, No. 5 and No. 6 teams in the state. Orange County also now has No. 1, No. 3, No. 4, No. 5 and No. 6. Top-ranked Mater Dei will be home Friday to play Bishop Gorman of Las Vegas in a No. 1 vs. No. 2 for the nation — or is that just like playing St. John Bosco twice every season? Serra of San Mateo also goes back up to No. 8 and plays at De La Salle next in a NorCal showdown.
