Just like softball, we now offer up a look at top freshman baseball players from the 2024 season who have great promise to gain an all-state nod down the road. It’s not an all-state team since the same format of the others is not duplicated. Still, it’s a way of honoring more players. These are are not recruiting lists or Class of 2027 player rankings but some of the players are highly regarded.

Notes: As mentioned in the other posts about all-state sophomores and all-state juniors, this is not a Class of 2027 recruiting list. These are all players listed below who “did something” in varsity games during the season. Summer accomplishments or stats were seen in some cases, but were not sought out. Other players will emerge down the road as they get more high school varsity playing time, especially at the stronger CIF Southern Section programs. Since freshman softball players have a lot more opportunities to play, this list for baseball could not come close to the same number of the players listed as softball.
