This week’s rankings were delayed several hours to include all of the reported opt-outs from the CIF Southern Section regarding next week’s CIF Southern California regional playoffs. State No. 1 Corona is the main one, but after Saturday night’s win over Harvard-Westlake in the CIFSS D1 final there isn’t much else left that the Panthers can prove (especially without a CIF state title in baseball). Granada of Livermore can still finish as high as No. 2 if it ends 32-1, but for now is No. 3. Biggest movers this week include St. Mary’s of Stockton and Rancho Bernardo of San Diego up into top 10. St. Ignatius of San Francisco also had to jump way up after its upset of previous No. 10 Serra of San Mateo in CCS Open Division.
