This feature serves as our statewide collection of milestone achievements in California high school sports. More than lists and numbers, we can provide historical context since we’ve maintained state records in California for more than 40 years. For baseball this week, we have 19 strikeouts for Zach Menlove of Monrovia for a school record, four doubles for Joseph Hoskins of San Mateo Hillsdale for a state record tie and a bunch more RBI for Tehachapi’s Colton Christy. For softball, final career totals are in for University Prep’s Dani Jackman and Beaumont’s Cambria Salmon. We also have a mix of CIFSS playoff outings with end of season outings up north.
