The Bay Area Basketball Coaches Association (BABCA), with the support of both the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) and California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) is hosting Boys California Live ’24. The annual event takes place June 28-30, 2024 during the second of the NCAA’s two 2024 June Scholastic Live Periods and for the first time the boys event will be held in Northern California.

Boys California Live ‘24 will be held in the Sacramento metro area in the city of Roseville at 12-court Roebbelen Center.  The event will be managed by BABCA, just as Girls California Live ’23 event was at the Roebbelen Center. Boys California Live ‘24 will provide a platform for high school student-athletes to demonstrate their talent in front of NCAA Men’s basketball coaches all under one roof in a scholastic setting playing with their high school teams.

“BABCA is thrilled to be selected by the CIF to host Boys Cali Live ’24,” said Randal Bessolo, event manager and head coach at University High School of San Francisco. “BABCA is committed to serving our coaches and players and the event will be a unique opportunity for the best high school teams in California to compete against each other in front of college coaches. Our experience successfully running Girls Cali Live ’23 at the Roebbelen center last year has given BABCA the experience to deliver a first class event for California high schools, players, college coaches and fans.”

The event is limited to high school teams from California that are full CIF members, plus select programs from contiguous states, and is intended to showcase teams with a Division I college prospect. There is an application process for CIF teams and select teams from the contiguous states to be selected for this prestigious event.

Boys high school coaches at CIF member programs can access the application by CLICKING HERE or via the tab on the BABCA website: babca.org
