This week saw the least movement in the top 25 all season. In fact, it’s the same 25 as last week. The reason for that is simple: first-round section playoff byes plus none of the eight teams in the CIF Southern Section Division 1 playoffs were in action at all. Everything changes this week, though, as the CIFSS D1 quarterfinals, the CIF San Diego Section four-team Open Division semifinals plus all of the top seeds playing in the CIF Central Section, CIF Sac-Joaquin Section, CIF North Coast Section and CIF Central Coast Section will surely result in some of these teams losing.
