Here’s a first list of those now on our radar screen as ninth graders we’ll likely be following for the next few years. This is not a Class of 2027 recruiting list and another one will be done after the done after the season and after the all-state teams are done. The second ever State Freshman Player of the Year will be announced earlier.

Notes: As mentioned earlier, this is not a Class of 2027 recruiting list. We did not watch film of the Mater Dei-St. John Bosco freshman game to look for top players, either. These are all players listed below who have “done something” in varsity games so far this season but we did go through the varsity rosters for many of the top programs. Other players will emerge down the road as they get varsity playing time.
