It’s taken a few weeks of research in between all of the usual weekly features we do, but we’re ready to go with an expanded version of our All-Time All-State Small Schools Football Teams. This is a celebration of all of those small schools everywhere from Weed and Ferndale to the north and to those from Imperial County and San Diego County to the south. The number of big-time NFL quarterbacks on this offense may be hard to believe, but they all qualify for small schools when they played for their schools. We have those listed for multi-purpose featured in this post as well.

(This is not just about what the players did in high school but they had to have been at least playing at an all-league or all-area level while in high school)
OFFENSE
WR Deontay Greenberry (Washington, Easton)
Our 2011 Mr. Football State Player of the Year helped Washington win its only CIF state title in 2011 in D3. The Panthers were considered small schools at the time as well. Greenberry set a state record that season with 2,165 yards receiving on 109 catches. He later played at Houston and for a brief time in the NFL.
