There’s one Monday game from the CIFSS D1 playoffs involving No. 4 JSerra that is not included in this week’s rankings. Those playoffs will start to see huge matchups as early as the second round, including two top 10 teams playing each other. Valley Christian of San Jose in the CCS, De La Salle in the NCS and La Costa Canyon of the San Diego Section, meanwhile, are looking strong. This week’s newcomers are led by Torrance High along with Villa Park, Rancho Bernardo, Long Beach Poly and Los Gatos.
