This feature serves as our statewide collection of milestone achievements in California high school sports. It’s not baseball or softball but have to highlight the end of one of the most remarkable state records in any sport — Long Beach Wilson’s 49-year league title streak in boys swimming. In baseball, we also have a head coach winning his 500th game, a player with a second no-hitter this season and another with four doubles in one game. In softball, Dani Jackman of Victorville University Prep is threatening state single-season RBI record and we have another player with four doubles.
