As a companion to the final & expanded overall State TOP 40 rankings, we also present final & expanded rankings for each of the CIF state divisions. Central of Fresno made the biggest jump after winning the CIF D2 state title. Others getting final rankings bumps include Mark Keppel of Alhambra (D3), Poly of Sun Valley (D4) and Valley Christian of Roseville (D5). There are at least 15 teams ranked in every CIF division with many more listed as honorable mention.

Note: This is a post for Gold Club members only on CalHiSports.com. After the first rankings, the second update and then the final state rankings are available only to our Gold Club members as well as our state stat star of the week honor rolls. To check out getting a Gold Club membership to see all of those rankings plus all of our girls hoops state record lists, totally authentic historical features, and more, CLICK HERE.

Note: These rankings are based on the usual factors of schedule strength, head-to-head wins and results through the semifinals of the regional playoffs. We can’t obviously do division rankings until after the CIF announces regional brackets since no one knows which divisions to put any of the teams in. We also like to do these rankings since the upcoming divisional all-state teams will be based on these same divisions.
