In this week’s new boys basketball State Top 25 there are four newcomers, three from NorCal previously ranked, plus one SoCal squad entering for the first time this season that is slowly putting together a terrific resume. The rankings are dominated at top by the eight entrants to the CIF Southern Section Open Division, but find out why our rankings don’t match the pecking oder in the massive section with regards to the final two open teams. Playoffs also will begin this week in all divisions of the CIFSS plus CIF L.A. City Section.
